Arrive Hanoi
Met at Noi Bai and transferred into the Old Quarter. Evening walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and Ta Hien, the beer corner.

2Day
Hanoi city
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex and One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, and the Hoa Lo prison museum. Water puppet show in the evening.

3Day
Ha Long Bay overnight cruise
Drive to the coast and board a licensed cruise boat. Kayaking among the karsts, a cave visit, and a night on board after the day boats have left.

4Day
Ha Long to Da Nang
Sunrise in the bay, brunch on board, then disembark and transfer to Hanoi for the flight south to Da Nang. Evening at the beach or the Dragon Bridge.

5Day
Marble Mountains and Hoi An
The Marble Mountains caves and pagodas in the morning, then on to Hoi An. The old town lights up after dark, and on the 14th of the lunar month the electric lights go off entirely.

6Day
Hoi An at leisure
The Japanese Covered Bridge, the assembly halls and the tailors, or a bicycle out to An Bang beach. Optional day trip to the My Son Cham temple ruins.

Departure
Transfer to Da Nang airport. Extensions to Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta or Sapa arranged on request.
