Bhutan Classic — Paro, Thimphu & Punakha
The route we run most often. Tiger's Nest, the Punakha Dzong at the river confluence, and Dochula Pass on a clear morning, at a pace that leaves room to breathe at altitude.
7 Days
Every itinerary below is one we run ourselves. Prices are per person on twin sharing and include the permits, because a quote that leaves those out is not a real quote. All of them can be rebuilt around your dates, your pace and your group.
The route we run most often. Tiger's Nest, the Punakha Dzong at the river confluence, and Dochula Pass on a clear morning, at a pace that leaves room to breathe at altitude.
Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake and the Nathula road, with Pelling and the Kanchenjunga view if you have the days. Protected-area permits arranged, gentle altitude gain and short driving days.
Sunrise from Tiger Hill, the toy train through the tea gardens, and the Batasia Loop. Short driving days and gentle altitude make this the easiest of our hill routes for families and first-time visitors.
Cherrapunji's living root bridges, Dawki's clear water, Mawlynnong, then Kaziranga for the one-horned rhino. Long distances handled by drivers who know the road conditions.
Two full days in Leh before you gain any altitude, because the trip is only good if you feel well. Khardung La and a night beside Pangong Tso, then down to a Srinagar houseboat on the Dal.
Temple mornings in Kathmandu, a lakeside slow-down in Pokhara, and a Nagarkot sunrise over the Annapurna range. No visa required for Indian nationals.
Bangkok's temples and markets, then the coast at Pattaya or Phuket. Visa guidance, airport transfers and attraction tickets all arranged before you fly.
Hanoi's old quarter, an overnight on Ha Long Bay, and Da Nang or Hoi An for the coast. E-visa documentation handled, internal flights and transfers booked with the trip.
Ubud's rice terraces and temple mornings, then the beach side of the island at Seminyak, with a day out to the Nusa Penida cliffs. Visa on arrival for Indian nationals, and transfers arranged before you land.
No packages in that region yet.
These nine cover what most people ask for, but they are starting points rather than a menu. Send us your dates, your group and roughly what you have in mind, and we will build the itinerary around that instead.
